Default DiabLew Tuning is THE ****!

So, after getting my car back from 3 weeks of tranny-rebuild fun at the dealer, I just put the DiabLew tune back in my car.

Now, Lew did my tune nearly a year ago, but it wasn't until I had to remove it for the trip to the dealer and back, that I realized how shitty the stock calibration is, and how ABSOLUTELY AMAZING Lew's work is in waking these cars up.

In the few days of driving it with the stock programming, the car was lazy, had tons of KR, even at cruise, got shitty mileage, and was slow. Putting my DiabLew tune back on it eliminated 98% of the KR, improved my mileage and brought the car back to life.

I know this sounds like a blatant commercial, but I had forgotten just how much difference this mod made. It's worth every penny.

Just wanted to spread the word!

Even though we kissed and made up, I have to hate you now because I've been wanting a LewToon for some time now.

AAAHAHAHAHA!!! NOICE man!!!!

Thanks for the good words dude... yeah, it's funny how we get "used to" how the car feels and don't think there's really much difference, huh??

when people tell me that, I always tell them to restore the original stock tune and drive on that for a few days, then put the tune back in and see if there's a difference!

Yes, the 06 uses the E40 PCM and the 07-up models switched to the E67 processor.

DOOO IT!!!! Even if you gotta hate me again, it's the absolute BEST $100 you can spend on your car. No mod gives more bang for the buck!

I agree 100% about the DiabLew tune. I've had mine for a couple of months now and am thrilled to drive the car every day...Better mileage, no more DOD, no power robbing traction control, just power at ANYTIME. My SS just plain moves out. I can go 0-80 extremely quickly. 80-120 is very strong too. The tires easily roast at only mid throttle at low speeds. I can do 50ft burnouts with no problem. My only issue is torque steer. I truly have to hold the streering wheel tight with both hands when under full throttle

I haven't even sent the original file back to Lew yet for fine tuning - Seems just perfect to me....Although I should have him fine tune it just to make sure all is good.

Kudos to Lew - I bought the Predator from him too. He is extremely helpful during the entire process.

hahahaha!!

yeah man, for the amount of time I put into the tunes, with going through the multiple logs over and over, doing re-tweaks, free updates... I was definitely selling myself short before for sure... so, up it went... STILL an excellent deal...
