Default 255 series tires?

Does anyone have a picture of 255 series rubber on a stock SS wheel? I'm reading that that's WAY too wide but I see that people here have done it. My issue is that I do take curves a lot.

255's should be on an 8" at least... running a 40 series will make the narrow rim even worse, along with being too short... 255/45 is the right height, i may use that size next on mine...

If the stock rims are only 7" wide, then a 255 tire IS too wide...

i couldve sworn i saw pics someone posted on here of theyre car with 255s all the way around 8" front 7" rear. i personally dont think it would work. i think itll rub in the rear on the strut. im running 245s on the 7s all the way around and its super super close. its possible that the SS wheel spacing/offset is different then the alcoa 7" spacing. heres a thread where he ran 255s on the 7" but no pics.

I run 255's all the way around with no problems and the car handles much, much better. Not as much torque steer either. Very nice.

Here is a pic on the rear rim which is 7".

Got anymore pics of your ride and its wheels?

In my signature I have 245-45-18, I have no issues, they fit the wheel pretty good, looks better than the old 235-50-18s

I'm going to look at some 18x8 Mustang GT wheels tomorrow. Hoping to fit some 255s-275s on there. Guess we'll see.
