Yep. I'm reviving an old thread. I was reading through this and I couldn't help but wonder about the use of wet sleeves in an LS4 to get more cubic inches out of these engines similar to what this guy is doing in this thread, but running ls7 heads on it.

This would allow you to still be able to have a big bore engine that would still utilize the LS4's unique crank would it not?


Assuming you could find the 1" trans chain and have a beefy 4t65-HD built to handle the power and numerous suspension upgrades to transfer that power to the ground, could this be a good option? To what power levels do you think the stock LS4 crank would be good to?
