Spanked a GT500 So, I was pulling out of a gas station yesterday after work in Agoura Hills, SoCal, when a dude in a blue GT500 came flying around a corner sounding bad as ****. I pulled out behind him and was going to get on the freeway, but decided to follow him instead, and see if I had anything for him. Anyway, I follow him for about 1/2 mile to the next major street, where he gets in the left turn lane and is caught at the red arrow. I saw him look in his mirror as I pulled up behind him. He probably was wondering why I was trying to keep up with him, because he was driving like a dick. So, we get the green arrow, he pulls out, I swing around the outside of the turn and pull along side. Dude looks at my car, and nails it. I drop down into third manually, and floor board it. He jumps to about a car-length lead, before I quickly reel him in and put about 4 cars on him, which I'm able to hold for a few seconds...By this point, we're coming fast on some cars at another light, so I back out of it and get hard into the brakes. Once I'm stopped at the next light, he pulls up, but is caught a couple of cars back. Unfortunately, I never get to see the look on his face.
Of course, I was driving my Grand National when this happened! I was only running 18 lbs of boost, too. If I had it in race trim, which is 22 lbs and pure methanol injection, it would've been REAL ugly!
Anyway, thought y'all might appreciate that!

when I first saw the title and was reading, I was like, wow, that gt500 needs a serious driver mod if he can't take a monte/impala...
