Down here they are not really strict on car mods if at all. As long as its registered and insured the cops don't really care about what kind of mods you have, that's as far as I know for the metro Atlanta counties (Fulton, Dekalb, Cobb, Clayton, and Gwinnett) the further you go out from the metro the more likely you are to have problems. I'm just speaking for the Metro Atlanta area, not the "boondocks." And as far as emission goes there's a yearly emission test that's fairly easy to pass. If im not mistaken cars that are 2 or 3 years old don't need an emission test and cars that are 18 yrs old are eligible for an ANTIQUE tag which means the car does not have to have an emission test.
The only mod u may get into trouble with is tinted windows (not really a mod). Most cops don't care but it just depends on the cop and where u are. (32% is legal)

I just got here about 2 days ago i do really like it here. but the drive from PA was terrible like 13-14 hours. we dont have internet yet in the rental house so im on my phone and i can only reply to certain posts. im in dunwoody now so i dont know how close anybody is to the but i would like to meet up?
