Default Sway bars

I'm trying to do something for the cornering on my 06 Monte ss. I'm trying to find sway bars, strut tower braces, trailing arms, control arms. Anything and everything. So what's a good site. I saw some on zzp performance but I'm not sure I they will work on an 06 did they change the suspension at all from 05?

Yea stock front and rear. You can get larger ones, but I would get the stb's first.

I don't believe that there are larger sways available. We already have the equivalent of the GMPP sways (solid 34/18mm).

Addco makes a 22mm rear. No idea on the part number. Looks like this is it.

Addco 7/8" Sway Bar Part #639

Can change the end links and bushings to poly. That would stiffen it up without much cost.

1.25 inch front would be 31.75 mm. Smaller than stock there.

Eventually I will get some poly bushings for the front stabilizer bar. I don't think I would want to stiffen up the back anymore than it is...these cars have a tendancy to swing the rear if you aren't too careful.

BTW I have Energy Suspension poly endlink bushings I picked up at Advance Auto for real cheap. Was a definately a nice little upgrade.

I wouldn't waste my time with a front STB, unless you want it for cosmetic reasons. It's well known that the stiffest part of the W-body is at the firewall/strut tower area. No one has shown real-world proof that it does anything to help with handling. The rear STB on the other hand, has been shown to improve handling by making it a bit more neutral under hard cornering due to the light ***-end on all W-bodies.

That being said, I run the BMR front STB on my 97' GTP but more for looks than any measurable handling improvement.

I agree 100%. The firewall has always tied the struts together just fine. Although back in the day, a convertable cutlass supreme for example needed an fstb....plus some reinforcement at the radiator and frame rail reinforcement.
