Default A couple of runs @ the track with vids

Went to the track this past Wednesday. I was hoping for 13's but was unsuccesful . Density Altitude: 1817 feet Relative Density: 94.79 %
Best time was 14.16 @98.72mph 60' 2.14 The track prep was terrible that day. Still cant get into the 13's with my mods ,I feel that I've been doing worse since I put the catless downpipe .
Well here are the vids and sorry for the quality of the videos but not for long.

Me vs my buddy's SS (just a cai) tires wouldnt hook.

Those 60' times are alright. If you could get it to a 2.0X you might see 13s. Wait until it cools off and go back. Don't get too frustrated.

Thanks guys I'm really working on that 60' but just can't seem to lower it. I don't plan to take the car to the track maybe till about late october when it starts cooling down over here.

What air pressure are you running? Put the backs around 40 and the front on 25 or so.

Hate to say it, but go back to street tires or get some more seat time in on the DRs. My 60' times improved on the street tires because the suspension was unloading so bad on DRs. With some more practice I probably could have learned to control it but at the time street tires netted me better times.

I was actually thinking of selling my slicks and getting some DRs I hate the way the car starts shaking bad.

OP- Its what about 95 degrees outside around when the sun sets?? Wait till its cold/cooler and your times will drop.

My very first run at the track with the Imp was @50degrees and got my 14.3 all stock, went back when it was around 85 at night and couldn't break 14.5's at a better track.
