Default XM Radio Problem

Well I just subscribed to XM today, and all the channel names show up, but all I'm getting over the radio is static. I'm not hearing anything else other than that.

Does anyone have any ideas of what I could check.

I think it's a radio problem, because I've talked to customer service at xm and they're resent the signal a few times, but are saying since the channel names are showing up that it's most likely a radio issue.

Thanks

Ebay radio??

That's strange, if there is sound when you are using normal AM/FM then it might be a bad connection on the back of the radio....

It's the oem radio that comes in the monsoon system.

How would I go about getting the radio out to check the connection?

first question, is it a seperate XM radio, or is it the built in factory with XM? next if it is the seperate radio unit, check and make sure the built in FM transmitter is on a channel you want it to be, the XM unit i bought did not come with a FM transmitter so i had to buy a seperate transmitter.
