Looks ok, but it's inset, and I don't think there's enough space for us to do that... Could be wrong, I've got a spare hood if anyone wants to come get it and try.

i'm with you on that i don't think we have the room to do that unless it is not to far down? and how would we be able to do it since the gxp hood is bowed up in the middle of it? do you know what i mean?

the crease. Yea actually that would probably help the idea. And I think there is room. Look how think the fire blanket is..your talking about maybe take that out and what 1/4" or so down.

Like I said..just an idea..I dont have a hood to do it to..wish I had a shop or a millionair..I would be doing all this stuff..just to do it.

I wouldn't mind doing something like that that's low key. Our engine bays are f'n heat monsters.

I don't get it, even my '05 grand am (ram air) came with a good looking fiberglass hood factory. Can't believe they didn't put one on the GXP.

I had a 2002 grand am GT as well with the sc/t hood.
How I miss that car, it would of been paid for in August of this year if I kept it.

That hood would work on the GXP too. But not even the aftermarket has much for this car..maybe since there were not so many made?? But still how many regualr GP in our body style are out there???

Are you saying that hood would be a direct bolt on? Probably not, but that would be awesome. Even if some modification was required.

That's pretty cool as long as it will clear stock... ls6 intake... etc.

I'm not going cut my stock hood though.

The inferno hood is pretty cool, but it's the only one and I'm rather over it (no offense to those who have it, I just like to be different)
