catless DP and 3" into super 44s is stupid loud too. how loud are these borla xs pro's?

Definitely not as loud as flowmasters.

They're a low deep tone, with 3" dp and no res it sounds great to me, not quiet, but definitely not super loud.

Ditch the mufflers completely. Replace the resonator with a Powerstick from Classic Chambered Exhaust, and run straight pipe back from that. A couple of guys on the forum have used this with nice results. From the videos I saw, it sounds pretty bad-*** without a lot of cabin drone. The outside video I saw was with the car at idle and there was a lot of wind noise, so I searched youtube but the only FWD application I could find was on a Caddy.....still sounded good.

Couldnt really hear it at idle but once it started rollin, it sounded hella good

OK guys, keeping in mind that i needed to do this on a budget, i decided to go with the Magnaflow Turbo XL's. As much as the Borla's appealed to me, the price was twice as much. I found the Magnaflows for $47 apiece at Summit. Throw in tax and free delivery (i work about 15 minutes from their showroom), the whole project will cost me $100 for the two mufflers and a case of beer for the install. Should be going on this weekend, with a sound clip to follow
