New Exhaust Time I'm looking for suggestions here. One of the muffler's on my GXP has about a 5 inch hole in it, the other is pretty close to rusting through as well. I wanted to hold out and save up for the Magnaflow cat-back, but thats still a few months away, and the interior resonance is getting unbearable. I'd still like to upgrade the mufflers a little though. I'm looking for a deeper sound than stock, but not obnoxious (similar to the Magnaflow). Does anyone have suggestions (or even sound clips) of some custom muffler set ups on a GXP? Or maybe the part number of the muffler that comes with the Magnaflow system. I'm trying to keep the cost down as much as possible. The labor cost is not an issue as i have a friend who will do that part for a case of beer. If anybody has had good results with their own experiment let me know.

Nick...I was cosidering those too. I had a Borla on my old Chevy S-10, loved the sound it gave.
2005GXP- that sounds good. wish i had the money to add the headers too...someday
Haulin-i wouldn't have thought to use those on a GXP, i'd be interested in the sound. Post up some clips when you get it set up.

Summit Race muffler. Paint them in high temp gloss paint, and they'll hold up for quite a few seasons.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I think i'm leaning towards the Borla's. I've liked them in the past, so i think they would work well here.
Diesel, do you recall the dimensions and inlet/outlet (center, offset?) set up of your's?

As much as i'd love to, this is the daily driver. All i'm looking for is a little deeper and louder than stock. I have the Camaro with a loudmouth 1, cats, and headers for making heads turn,

I bet that SS sounds lovely 
but as for your GXP get 2 Flowmaster Super 44 mufflers and call it a day. I loved the sound of them when i had the Super 40's on my SS but i wanted it to be louder so i straight piped it.
