The stock plugs and wires work great on the GXP. But IDK about the IMP or MCSS. It might be the same (which I'm thinking), and unless you need to run a colder plug, I would stick with stock.

I run XP-104's. They are a 1/2 to 1 hr colder. It got rid of any knock I'd get. I would not suggest going any colder than this. I did and my gas milage suffered a bit. With the 104's I get better milage and no knock. It was a win-win for me.

I changed mine at about 73k as I noticed the idle was not the same. I used Stock P/N- ACD 41-985/ GM 12609877 superceeded from ACD 41-985/ GM12571164 plugs and Taylor Street Thunder 8mm Wires P/N-53005; the wires were about $30-$40 from SUMMIT RACING? I measured the resistance on the 8mm Taylor wires compared to 7mm stock, with no surprise the Taylor Wires had quite a bit less resistance... All this despite being slightly longer that stock as they are for the LS1. In any event I have some pics to show to compare the DOD located to NON DOD located plugs. On the DOD plugs the gap was good but they had deposits. The engine idles smooth again and all the other good things that goes into a tune up. With the DOD I was pretty sure I would not make to 100K before a tune up, at least to my tastes. With the minor things I have done to the engine with an alignment with 77k now, at 70 mph on 90 Thruway I'll get 27.5mpg from Albany to Utica; just touching EPA specs.
Pic 1- DOD plug is on the bottom.
Pic 2- DOD plug on left.
