Sorry i am super busy over the next few days, when i get a chance i will post my dyno graph.
I have the tune in my email if you want to see it.
rev limiter is set to 6800.
at 4000rpms i have about 340hp.
Stock fuel system. It has enough fuel and the stock system is working at about 85% which i have been told is fine.
We couldnt figure out the power loss, we even took the whole intake system off to see if the elbow and filter were the restriction. It just has a weird burp at like 5800 rpms. Giving it more timing fixed a lot as i lost compression but that one weird thing remains. Before adding timing it just flat lined at 5800.

yes, please send a copy of the tune to jdmgtp27@yahoo.com

I wish you also had a copy of a scan so I can see what's going on during the hp dip.

I have seen something similar with LT1's, it is the intake manifold. Might be the narrowed neck in relation to the rest of the intake has a critical flow point and it chokes itself with reflected pulses of air. Don't see it in other LSx applications as the bottleneck is not in them.

Maybe it is a resonance issue?

not saying it's impossible but it would be the first I've ever heard of something like that.

Definitely not a restriction issue as power would continue to drop as rpms increase. My initial assumption is the tune. I'd like to see the graph.

Torque takes a bit of a dip at 5800, not the big 50 HP dip I thought I'd see. Pretty nice chart.
