Going with Cartuning turbo guys. Question
Seems like a bit much to me with 10:1 and hyper pistons with stock rod bolts and mains. I'm thinking of just using 5psi. I like there kit cause its tuned and I have heard nothing but good things about Kevin and his work. I'm not going to go custom or anything like that I'm just woried about blowing the motor. I don't care aout the tranny. When it goes it goes

Just wanna hear what you guys think.
This kit will be installed in Oct since I'm still waiting on my heads and other stuff. My stock cam is going back in and intake manifold. Dod is gone for good do to my lifter swap and valley tray. LS6 TPIS manifold in the future but for now their kit makes more then enough power with stock parts.
Personally, I wouldn't go over 8 psi with 10:1 compression. That should still put you over 400 whp.
Since I've got the headers (still not installed), a rear mount turbo, ala Rossko, seems like an interesting concept - If I do that, all of my cars will be turbo...

You should be fine with 8 psi. Go over to the turbo section and ask some of the guys over there, they are experts on the subject and will tell you how it is.
The cartuning turbo kit is more then enough, and if I want more I'll be forced to go internal. I did install non dod lifters and buckets with the the Kartec valley cover. Screw dod!
and ive taken this car up to 10psi on e85 and still was nice and rich and making power....so its all in the tune guys...on 92-93 octane...I WOULDNT WITHOUT METH LOL...but the E85 gives you the constant source of octane!!

E85 sounds promising, but we don't have any of that stuff up here in Pacific north west
