First time running.. Finally got to run my monte at the local track..track is 1/8 mile and pretty much known to suck..
1st run I got 9.70, with T/C on and not brake stalling it..I went up against a modded Integra with CAI and a fartcan, IDK what its time was but I easily had probably 3 lengths on it
2nd run I got 11.60..Screwed up real bad trying to do the Brake stall at 2000 rpm and messed up my start..Some how still beat a late 90s Mustang GT..
3rd run I gave up on stalling it and just launched with T/C and got 9.60..Another GT and smoked it once it got into 2nd..
I noticed on all my runs im normally head to head with them, or they lead me, until it shifts into 2nd, then I really start to pull on them. Mods are Newly Catted DP, SLP Catback, and CAI. Im pretty happy for my first time ever running it, I got to work on stalling it lol

im pretty sure its all the track, its real shitty, my family owned an open wheel modified so ive been going there for the last like 15 years, i dont think theyve ever done any work to it..Ive found that most cars run .75 to 1 sec slower than what they should

An 8.70-8.90 would be a VERY good time for your car. I'd expect something in the 8.90-9.20 range, so if you're dropping a second off of 9.60, get your happy *** to a 1/4 mile track and see what she'll do. That's knocking on the bolt-on record door.
Dunn Tire Raceway sucks. I will never go there again due to the 1/8 mile. Holland International Speedway MIGHT have 1/4, but I haven't traveled there yet.

yeah, there track conditions are terrible... I would go up there and meet you guys if you planned on going one of these Weds.
What modified does your family own? I used to love watching them until I had some marriage issues and no longer go every week. My former father-in-law ran a street stock for about 4-5 yrs.
Lichester has a good 1/4 mile track, but that's a little hike from Buffalo... not far from Rochester
