I've never seen headers on a FWD vehicle. How does the crossover pipe work? Is this part of the kit?

What all do we need to get in order to be all new from the engine to the Cat?

Thanks,
Tom

just these headers the crossover goes from the front header over the trans on the driver side then connects to the back header part then down where the stock dp is now. with these headers there is a little whistle in the flex pipe they come with but everyone either changed it with a different flex pipe or just left it alone. search header whistle to find out more on it

Oh that's gorgeous. What part do people replace to eliminate the whistle?

Thanks,
Tom

So, you chop off part of your $600 header kit and weld something else in place? LOL

See if they'll change to a 1 3/4" primary instead of the sewer pipe 1 7/8" they gave us last time.

That and see if they will install the proper flex pipe to eliminate the damn whistle noise. We should not have to pay 600 bucks for something that is not 100% sound and constantly gets complaints by its owners.

the flex pipe that is on the crossover, not the one on the downpipe end...

this one...

http://i549.photobucket.com/albums/i...a/DSCF6456.jpg

that one clamps on... so, just get a different section that will fit, and clamp it on in its place...

that's a shitty spot for that anyway, since it's suckin in extra air and will throw off the fuel trims, since that's before the front O2 sensor...
