31000 miles, just installed a Thrasher shift kit with new fluid and filter today. Also did the trans pan magnet upgrade as per bulletin #08-07-30-040B.

40,794 miles still o.e and going strong. Added zzp shift kit at 17,000 miles and played with trans in my hp tune at 20,000 something miles. No probs except every once in a great while it slams into first gear like the convertor is trashed when its cold at a stop...but otherwise it takes it like a champ! Ha ha

2007 GXP with close to 60,000 bought new Jan.2007 still have orig trans, also been spraying 100 dry shot for about a year now. Its slams into 1st from time to time but other than that its ok, I'll keep spraying until it goes.

When you put it in park, on a hill. Before you take your foot off the brake, set the parking brake. If you have to force it out of park you can mess it up. I cant remember what off the top of my head, but you don’t want to force it.

2006 Monte SS, original trans with 69,xxx miles and no major issues. The only thing I notice is a tiny shudder once in a great while when it's cold going into 2nd gear. I've been meaning to put a shift kit in for a while to firm up the shifts. An aftermarket warranty protects me until 101,xxx miles so I'm not too worried if she grenades.

Get a gym membership. LOL. just kidding.

@ 62 XXX miles original tranny. Some issues clunks hard when Shifting From R to N to D. Vibration when slowing down in 4 cyl, but that might be an AFM issue according to GM .

Sometimes it would jerk when starting to move out from a stop only when cold though.

Been seeing these issues for about 10 000 miles. Dealer says everything is fine. been to different dealers same ol' story.

Keep a tow company on speed dial.

Almost 50k miles and works just fine (knock on wood). I haven't even changed the fluid in it yet. That said, soon i'll be putting a cooler and maintenance the rest of it.
