LS4 compression test results
My 18K mile LS4 has been sitting for a while (year or more) and I wanted to do a compression check before the cam swap and then again after it to see how much dynamic compression I lose with the cam swap.
Initial compression results were:
1: 220......2: 190
3: 190......4: 220
5: 190......6: 205
7: 200......8: 190
The thing I find interesting is the DoD cylinders are higher... probably from more oil collected in the rings.

I got the new cam all degreed in where I wanted it, then stripped out the bolts from a friends spring compressor tool after swapping the springs on 3 cylinders. Ordered new bolts and should be able to finish the spring swap this week and get the after compression #'s.
