Never Properly Introduced Myself Had my 06 Impala SS for almost a year now, and loving every second of it. I'm 21 years old, service writer at a heavy duty bodyshop. Anyway heres some pics. Sorry, some are with my phone.

What I find interesting is that GM took away our second hood strut (04 Grand Prixs, maybe 05s, had two) yet the LaCrosse Super has two.
(not sure if the Monte Carlos and Impalas had two)

I always thought it had to do with space issues due to the V8. I guess not. 
Yeah, the connections are there. But on the GXP at least, there needs to be some welding on the hood for a bracket.
