You've had it in for this car the moment you bought it. I don't think you really researched the car. It's like the moment you found out it was FWD and lacked aftermarket support was the moment you wanted to ditch it and go all Charger.[/QUOTE]

You're right. I didnt do my research and i told you guys that from the jump. Had i did my research i most definitely wouldnt of purchased this car. The main reason being is because of all the transmission problems i was hearing about when i got to this forum. If i would of known that i wouldnt of got it point blank

Just build the trans up....then put some DR's and a 100 Shot in it and spank the chargers.

Good advise below...the trans has a filter that needs to be replaced...just drop the pan and change the fluid/filter yourself if you want to go that route.

You would be wise to spend the time to do this and have it still not work, on the off chance that it DOES work... who knows it could end up saving you thousands. Always trouble shoot the cheap/easy things first.

What in the hell is a "lazy shift"? The previous owner of my car said when he had the tranny rebuilt they installed a shift kit, I think it shifts really smooth so I really do not know if I should believe him haha.

Buy a worked valvebody, input shaft, and clutch packs from TEP to have them put in the trans when you rebuild it. Also invest in a shift kit (Nachoss is selling one) and a trans cooler to keep the new one from going this route.

Have you tried working with the service rep at the dealership?

Sometimes they will cover half, or even the whole repair if you are slightly out of warranty.

No!

Why spend even more money on something that is proven to be detrimental to these transmissions?!

OP: Since you're in a serious bind and cannot wait on the good things coming, I suggest that you purchase what AlabamaGuy suggested.

If you have 2nd but no 1st or 3rd you have broken hard parts in there. The more you try to run it the more little broken parts you’ll run thru the rest of the tranny.

If your a month out of warranty call GM customer care and tell them your situation. They have covered things out of warranty before.

I just gave GM Customer Service a call and the C.S rep was real nice. She did tell me however that i have to get a diagnosis on the vehicle before she could go to her higher power and get a verdict.
