GM actually DID NOT skimp out on the ignition system in these cars. The stock wires are quite good and usually if you NEED to replace a wire just get the stockers. Spending 150 dollars in wires is just that, wasting 150 bucks to look cool.

If you MUST upgrade, Truck coils. I don't even think those are worth the money though. I didn't have a SOTP difference and there have been a few threads as of late disproving them. But then again, there have been threads proving them.
I've heard nothing but bad out of the MSDs. Including reliability problems to go along with power output. GM actually did a very good job with the LSx ignition.
