Stock Nav System
There are a few minor differences:
- White LEDS vs. RED
- Smooth black surround vs. textured
- Corvette startup logo vs. Pontiac
Bonus: If you can get a 2010 C6 NAV, you'll get a USB port at the back that will connect your iPod and USB flash drive and it'd be provisioned for Bluetooth. You'll need a 2009+ Class 2 VCIM (OnStar module) for Bluetooth as well.
Do you have any idea why the retention rate of the stock NAV in the C6 Corvette is so "high?" It isn't because of the wonderful (sarcasm) GUI, lol.
It's all about the NAV and HUD. And now that "we" have an iPod interface which displays track titles on the HUD, it's even more golden.

Since this is the official GM accessory, you actually get real labels on the soft keys.

I think I'm going to start hyperlinking my mods, lol.
For example, the unit I put in my Impala was from a Yukon. Before I got it programmed to my car with a Tech2, it showed the GMC startup screen before going to the lock screen. After the programming, we now get the bowtie.
Now, since the Vette/GP units are completely different, it wouldn't surprise me if this wasn't the case.
I know it's not very important, but it may not be an issue, either.
