g8 officially coming back as a chevy

so i dont know to much info on it, but was reading car magazine at walmart today while my gf was looking through movies, and gm announced that the g8 will for sure come back but with chevy badges, they diddnt announce the name but they said they had a really good name for it lol. im excited! also spotted silver g8 gxp for first time today, was pretty excited haha

I'm pretty sure they'll penny pinch the f word out of it. And change a lot. Its always up to us to make our GM cars cool.

beating a dead horse... not gonna happen... this has been talked over and over again the G8 IS DEAD its not coming back.. period.... gm keeps going back and fourth with this if it does happen expect late 2012 or 2013

that was already in gm high-tech . the goverment get first crack in 2011 with the 9c3 package that will delivered in april the 9c1 cars will be in june and we will be able to get them in 2012 it says that it will have 6.0 l77 355 hp and 384 tq with and 6l80e and a 2.92 rear steel 18x8 with 235\40\18 its in jan issue

the 2012 chevrolet "who gives a ****" ... ???

chevy needs to bring the monte/ chevelle/ nova back ... rwd, manual, with a minimum 300 hp and weigh right around 3000lbs ... then ill be impressed enough to consider purchasing one ... until then ... im good

but then again, if a turbo cobalt was rwd ... i might be interested

hey dont forget us impala guys rwd with a coupe as an option just like the old days hahahahaha but i would like to get a chevelle

This is OFN but true.

And no, it will not be called "Impala" nor "Caprice."

The next Impala will continue to be FWD and the Caprice (LWB VE Commodore/Zeta) will be police-only.

This will get a new name (no one knows yet). Chevelle maybe?
