I can stall mine to 3400-3500...and that's absolutely ridiculous in a stock car.

I sti have dod and don't notice it much but it shuts off at 70 mph or above it can't handle the loads I have a similar issue where it droops a few rpms on the free way and it's the converter locking up

What speed does this happen?

Using a GXP as a reference. Overdrive engages at 36mph at little throttle, unlocks at 34mph. TCC locks at 50mph, unlocks at 46mph, triggering DoD disable depending on throttle position.

These cars have odd setups. I notice when giving light to moderate throttle, shifting into 4th gear at around 50mph seems to disengage overdrive, then the TCC locks. This causes a 1/4 sec. hesitation. Once the TCC locks, DOD disables for a second dropping the RPM's even more.

Does this sound like what your referring to?

That sounds like what it is doing im thinking of doing a transmission service done found a gm bulletin to add extra magnet in the pan has anybody done this yet
