Throttle Bodies...
This bothers me too... since, all other LS motors use 4" tubing compared to our dinky
3 3/8" *** crap. We can change MAF's and Air filters to use the bigger tubing but we still have the necked down TB. It is what it is.
Best bet would be to use the TPIS 90mm LS6 intake with a LS2 TB (it has the LS2 TB flange) and MAF with the correct sized tubing. Crossover pipe might be pretty close too the TB though..

The stock 3 3/8" throttle body and tubing will support over 400hp. Going to a bigger tb will probably kill low/mid range torque. It will certainly be overkill unless you have made other major upgrades to the engine. Its the intake manifold thats more of a problem. Switch to a LS1 or LS6 intake and do the the mods needed to use one of them.

Since we're traction-limited as it is, killing bottom end torque is pretty desirable.
I'd prefer a more linear torque cuve over the somewhat flat one we currently have.

Just airflow going into the tb controlled by the throttle blade right? Look at the gains ls1 f bodys pick up with swapping lids and tubing from the vetts. Up to 15whp. 90mm tb is overkill it was justca suggestion. I dont like the 3 3/8" tubing. Like i stated before... Even the 4.8 ls truck motors use 4" ducting. We'd pickup some nice gains. Some one should try to adaptthe corvette maf with the proper size airfilter and tubing
