question about mustang and old gp rims. what year mustang and grandprix ( or pontiac rims will fit) and the size?

There's a member with 17" Cobra wheels on a GXP, looked pretty good too. I ran 16" Mustang wheels for DR's. It's definitely not recommended, but they didn't give me any problems.

Has anyone actually tried fitting 16" wheels on a GXP? I've seen people post garbage about 275 series tires mounted on front wheels not clearing in the rear, which isn't true.
