Top Speed Run *Video on Pg. 3* I got to drove the SS at the Talladega Super Speedway. I have no idea how fast it was, but she was buried at 140 for a while 
. Coming out of turn 4 at over 130 and staying side open past the crowd on the home stretch was a real crowd pleaser. Although I don't think the track officials liked it with my lack of safety equipment
My only complaint is that the wipers were lifted about 3 inches off the windshield lol.

My trans is stock. Don't know how fast I was rolling, Speedo stops at 140mph. It was there for a little while. I don't think I was going over 150, some tool in a 4th gen thought it prudent to slow down to 40mph in front of me.

alabamaguy- next time take wipers off /tape grill up/up tire pressures to 35 >40 psi.. pick up about 2 mph,? dont look down ! just keep pedal to the metal ! if anyone complains say from old alabama gang, may you are ? rkvette
but hey, I'm just happy with the experience. I definitely had a blast on those steep banks! 
I would imagine you could keep it to the mat all the way around the track, with all of that banking, though I'm not sure how banked it is in the tri-oval.

Going to pick up the camera this afternoon, so calm down lol.
Yeah, I imagine if I could have done WOT longer than 1/3 of the track it would have been much higher. If I had to guess it'd be around 145-150 judging by the length of time it was buried, rise in engine speed, etc. As far as the banking, I did 130 going into a corner and came out with the speedo pegged already. Had no issues at all, but the G-forces were amazing. I think my seat still has the impression of my *** in it.
