tranny record?
im curious who has gone the farthest in miles on their tranny? im at about 87,000 and every know and then it seems to shift funny. and occasionaly at around 35-40 ill floor it and it kinda of shutters in a way ha. but my 4 year/100 thousand mile powertrain warranty should go out this year and i would like my tranny to go lol.

my 2008 ss impala is running good so far [33,000].. daughters 2006 monte ss/ tranny went at [40,000] just out of warranty..still runs good /factory replaced tranny, now at 105,000 miles.. rkvette

I've noticed a lot of people tend to say "I think my tranny is going out" or "My tranny is shuttering a bit, it doesn't have much time left."
I thought that for awhile too, turned out it was DOD. I have 70,000 miles on my original trans. I have a trans cooler installed. When I got diablew tuned and the DOD was shut off, that 'transmission shutter' disappeared as it was just the car switching from 4-cyl to 8-cyl.
I recommend turning off DOD somehow and see if you still feel that shutter.
I installed a trans-cooler and plan on doing a shift kit sometime in the near future to keep my trans going.
Now I'm going to go beat a few trees to death as I don't want to jynx anything.
