It looks just like mine. I painted the chrom flat black. Scroll down and you'll see it.

Yeah, judging by other Impalas I see driving around they look exactly the same shape..Idk maybe the dimensions are different?
Agreed, wish I could get rid of the bowtie/someone made a good fitting grill without it

EXACTLY!!! I was wanting to black out the chrome on the grill as well! This grill doesn't have the bowtie in front but its not anything thats too serious since I debadged all my emblems accept the bowties on the front and back. So I might consider this!

You know I never really paid attention to the ebay grill that much till you guys mentioned it didn't have the bowtie! I'm actually liking it a bit more now, makes the front a little cleaner.

I did the same on my car, all you have to do is pull the grille out, detach inner mesh from outter chrome.
Washed chrome with soap/water, sanded with 80grit sand paper (so the whole thing was smooth, and very dull looking) washed again with soap/water.
put 3 coats of primer
4 coats of black met (duplicolor)
and 5 coats of duplicolor clear coat
(make sure you wear gloves after you wash it the second time, your fingers will grease it up and screw the paint up)
fairly simple, just take your time and let it dry between coats

It will definitely fit the upper grille opening on the Monte Carlo.
Never mind. I see I am way behind the curve on this one.
