Default Shift kit installed. Couple ????

Well I went ahead and installed my transgo shift kit this morning. It really wasn't that difficult besides a few things. So far I only noticed a small difference in the 1-2 shift and a little more from 2-3. I fould a little gunk in my trans pan it was grayish gunk on the pan. Would that be metal shavings? Then when reinstalling my trans pan with my cheap torque wrench I snapped the head off one of the trans bolts. Will it be ok missing one bolt for a little while? What can be done to fix it? Thanks guys. I will try to post pics of my trans pan later.

You can get an "easy out" or bolt extractor to get it out and pick up a new bolt from the bone yard or dealer. Yeah those are metal shavings which is normal, chunks are bad.

Congrats for not having TCC material in your pan! That's cause for celebration!

Nice! you lose power last night too? I live off of 13th st and we had no power for 4 hours. You can get them at Farm and fleet, Ace and I think even the parts stores have them.
