Question i need help with a code!!!HELP

Alright my just threw a code its P0588,its cruise control vent control circuit high.Anybody know what caused this?

Just checked Alldata and it does not list a P0588 code for an 08 Impala SS. Odd...stupid question but are you sure that's the right code?

yes, that code is correct... found it on several sites...

but, no description of what would cause it or possible fixes.. so, I dunno man..

vent control.. hmmm. . vacuum leak somewhere???

That would be my best guess. Or a break in a wire somewhere? Alldata doesn't even list that code for the Monte, Impala or the GXP lol I can't find any fixes/info online either....weird. Let us know what you find out!

Alright found out thru the dealer, its the brake fluid level indicator switch $19.70 plus tax

Will respond later today! (need battries for my keyboard AGAIN! )

It is the Brake BOOSTER Sensor (voltage too HIGH)

I already did,reason why is I broke it when I put my motor and trans back in.
