Default Lowering time

Well ive been stuck between some things. I have about $200 to spend on my car. First thought was getting the widows tinted, but I've made it this far without. Then I saw the lowering springs on Canuck motorsports that have a nice drop for 200. Question with that, do I have to get the camber kit or can I do without it? I know I'll have to have an alignment done after a couple weeks. And I Hav brand new tires on the car, about $1000 worth so I don't wanna chew them up.
Does anyone have pics of the 2.5,2.0 drop on their car? I would love to see how it looks. Any other suggestions will be considered also.

Thanks fellas.

You can only get a 2.5/1.5 drop for your car and you will need the camber bolts. You will need an alignment right after so no waiting. I just did this same drop a few weeks ago I'll post pictures tonight

Part no. k5330 at advance auto that is for one you will need 4 or if you want to make sure the alignment is perfect you can buy 8. That part number should be good at any parts store. I would recommend to get 8 just to be on the safe side when getting an alignment

These two are very good upgrades regardless of lowering your car or not since they stiffen up your suspension and help with traction on launch and in the corners. Also even though you won't need adjustable LCA's (but still recommended) you will want to get the relocation brackets for them.

Sounds like a little more work I want to do in my cold garage. Lol I think I'm gonna set the money back and after winter do all that. Definately appreciate the info though.

On aside note I met a guy yesterday that had a black 08 gxp with 25,000 miles on it and he bought it brand new. I was quite amazed. Was telling me about how his rear stock suspension sagged so bad it chewed up both back tires. I have 88k on mine now and I have yet to have any problems. Beside my RR strut going out. Tranny is still very strong and no signs of slipping, yet.

You only need four camber bolts.

ACDELCO Part # 45K18036. Get them from RockAuto at ~$13 each.

I have the SSC springs and I used 4 camber bolts. It barely I mean by a hair got me in the green on the alignment rack. If I was going back in, I would have put 8 camber bolts in to get the alignment better. As you can see in the pics the springs were far from sagging, and the lowering springs didn't get me much of a drop. Average about 1" all around, wish it was another inch lower.

After
