00-03s had the problem with headgaskets , 04 they fixed the issue , i wish i knew that before i bought a 00 deville , as it cost 3500 for the head gaskets to be done on that car. Just change the coolant every two years to be safe

i had an 05 bonneville gxp with 28,000 miles on it, i traded it for my 06 monte ss with 62000 miles only becaues i wanted a lower car payment , i would take the bonneville over my monte anyday, better brakes beter balance of ride and handling and a alot nicer interior with leather and suede seats and carbon fiber interior trim pieces aluminum gas and brake peddles hud better sounding stereo air compressure in the trunk. but window syticker was 7000 higher then montewhen both were new cars.
