I separated the chrome trim from the grille section, scuffed it down, and just hit it with some self etching primer. Waited for it to dry then hit it with some trim black, which gives it that nice semi gloss.

Hey Red.. What SS emblem did you use and how do you have it mounted on the grille?? I like what you did and I've been thinking of doing mine like that....

The new SS emblem is held in place by the double sided tape that comes with it, simple as peeling that backing and making sure you are all lined up.
