I am going to be blunt, the guys you have been talking to are full of ****!

Check my previous post where I said camber was not an issue and the correct struts are. Half the time I'm right 70 percent of the time.

I'm not trying to be a dick but I don't jump on a thread and run my mouth for the hell of it. If I offer up info and it doesn't say "educated guess'' its because we probably have a good idea of the correct answer....and that answer is its not camber you have the wrong struts. What you do with that info is up to you. I'm trying to save you 80 bucks on an alignment. If I take time out of my day to comment its not for nothing its to help you out because this is a forum and that's its purpose is to share info on areas of expertise as well as past experience. And the past experience says clearance issues are two things. First is tire size....you have the stock tire. That rules that out. Then rims. You have stock rims. That rules that out. Are your struts plates bent up, probably not. And last is the incorrect strut, and there IS an issue with other members receiving the wrong struts. I'll born was kind enough to check the number and I rechecked it. Since I saved you 80 bucks I would appreciate it of you paypal me a portion of your saved money.

Ok this is the update. Wbodystore says they have sold those same struts to GXP and SS owners with the same tires and no issues. I told them that the right strut part number is 339148. I didn't hear back yet from that. I still took my car to go get my Nitto 555r Extreme tires size 255/45/18. The place I got them from the manager said don't worry the tires are shorter. I went in today and they put the car in the air, swapped the old tires off and put the new ones on and sure enough they don't touch. Put it on the ground and still didn't touch. (looks better with the 255's on it. why didn't they make those the stock size??????) They were busy on the alignment rack so I have to go back in the morning to have it aligned. When I get some extra cash I might go get the right struts later on. But for now all is good. I will post pictures when I take them after the rain stops.

Case in point you had to purchase shorter tires to make the strut work. Wrong strut. Demand your full refund and purchase them somewhere else.

No I agree with you. But you see what I mean that alignment was not the problem. I'm glad you got it sorted out.

Thank you very much. I will still get the other struts but right now it rides excellent. I haven't pushed it but the Nittos were even great in the rain. The struts themselves are great. Not too firm and not too soft. Very responsive. Plus I have the rear strut brace as well

Also if anyone wants to know. 255/45/18 do fit our cars very nicely. As I said before they look great and I still have room. I might even do the spacer upgrade as well to bring them out. I don't plan to lower my car either.
