The Charger R/T would be a good run for an LS4. The R/T's still have that 5.7 Hemi with 375HP, which is barely enough to get that 4,200 lb car out of its own weight. The Wbody is almost 1,000 lbs lighter with 70 less HP, I think it'd be close.

I remember racing an R/T from a roll at 55MPH in my auto LS1, which is kind of a dead spot for my car, I thought it was a V6 Charger with fake hemi badges on the side of it the way I pulled away from it, not until he did his little flyby did I hear the V8. I feel bad for people who drive an R/T and think they're fast. They sound nice though, kinda like the 2v 4.6.

I've actually raced a 2011 Charger and a 2013 Challenger(both R/T). Even with me spinning like **** off the start(FWDFTL) I still was right on their bumper and they never pulled me. But yeah. Power to weight, the Impala is still better than the R/T. It's just getting it out of the hole

Yeah, those Chargers aren't expensive because of their speed. I bet they have a really nice ride quality and some awesome seats though. I could use a more comfortable car.

Ran 13.42 last week on 5 psi and not fully tuned (07 GXP). Waiting for electric cutout to get to 10 PSI. CarTuning kit - I'll do a thread with times when get dialed in.

nice runs man are you gonna run the 2bar OS or keep stock and run with the cartuning tune? BTW your DA was anywhere between 661-and 1900 ft

Dafuq? Those are basically stock LS4 trap speeds. Can't believe I was the first to point that out.

What were your 60' times. Those seem to be great times for the mph.

2.124 & 2.123 60ft

It was the first time out with the Turbo setup. The tune is for having exhaust dump open at WOT, with it closed it's pig rich. Got the replacement cutout today & am hoping to go to Wednesday Test & Tume - anyone close by Palm Beach??

Uhh...no they're not.

Stock LS4's are usually running low to mid 14's at 99-101MPH.

My auto LS1 bone stock ran a 13.5 at 105MPH, which is pretty close to what this turbocharged 5.3 ran, I say the speeds are on par with the time.

Fastest LS4 (monte) I've seen run was with full exhaust and I think the best time was a 13.80 or 13.90 out of several runs. A 13.40 is not a typical LS4 time unless you're racing at -5000 DA or something.

Really? He said trap SPEEDS, not 1/4 mile times.
