LS4 owners,
We tried contacting Sam, the owner with the Monte, but to no avail just yet.
Anyone else?
What about a nice, H/C cam car? We just need something more significant the the A-typical CAI/exhaust/audio/tinted window upgrades.
At LSXTV.com, we bring our readers the best newsworthy items we can get our hands on, and a stock-ish car (no matter what it is) just doesn't do it for us.
The powers that be put us up to the challenge of finding an LS4 W-body worth bringing to our readers. We're confident that we can find AT LEAST ONE car out there. Are we wrong?
Give me hope, fellas.

supercat is still the fastest as far as I know. 11.06 or something.
EDIT:
He's been faster since apparently.
I'd like to know who's the fastest on stock internals/non forced induction.

Still here....still the quickest LS4 that i know of....
Did not go to track last year to surpass the 11.01 @ 126mph. Had some torque converter issues over the summer, only took the car to Hot Rod Power Tour at GM Proving Grounds.
Did not get a chance to run it out with the 3" Cartuning down pipe set up and Cartuning rear manifold this past year. Last set up was a 2.5" down pipe and stock LS4 rear manifold which has a poor design, but still able to run an 11.01 @ 126mph at around 15psi of boost with 76mm .96AR. Possibly another 100 hp lurking with this down pipe/manifold set up I hope and will see this Spring.
Here's a post if you want some more info and facebook ID is Blown SuperSport that has some more pics and such:

Car is a 2006 Monte Carlo SS FWD 5.3 LS4. Full weight, no reductions, looks totally stock except for lowering kit.
Baker Engineering "BEI" in Michigan built the 5.3 (TJ-HellbentS10) and did the SD tune on the car. Thanks TJ and BEI! I would recommend BEI to everyone on here. Top notch customer service and extensive time spent by TJ in helping me to get this set up right on and off the dyno. Unfortunately, the dyno just did not like the car, so we really didn't get any decent numbers on the dyno and could not lock up converter.
The BEI build: JE forged pistons (9:1), Callies Comp Star rods, BEI custom turbo cam grind, and just a little clean up and competition valve job on the heads (243's), Patriot Extreme valve springs. Using an LS6 intake manifold, Speed Inc. fuel rails, 60lb injectors, and LS4 throttle body. Racetronix 255lph pump, Racetronix rewire kit, Kenne Bell boost a pump.
Cartuning out of Canada makes the turbo kit that I am using for the GM LS4 FWD application (www.cartuning.ca). Another great company that has gone far beyond my expectations on customer service and dedication, thanks Kevin! Turbo kit normally comes with a turbonetics HP66, but I am using a Turbonetics 76mm ball bearing unit and now a 1.30 AR on center T4 housing . Methanol injection, 2.5" intercooler/charge piping, 3" downpipe with cutout, custom rear exhaust manifold made by Cartuning. Cartuning also built the transmission with their internal tricks (developed a custom 3rd gear apply piston to hold pressure/3rd gear clutches under high horsepower), using a Precision Industries 3000 stall billet cover converter.

I've got the e85 rear mount turbo set up...it's pretty cost efficient and has a few upgrades that the average joe could manage;-) Tuning was the biggest obstacle and finding out what would work...we don't necessarily need to be the fastest to have people take a look? Lol need more track time now...my set up is 100% off the fly and custom for FI in the LS4 world:-) I'm pretty sure it's the only rear mounted stock bottom end LS4? STS doesn't even have one...they were one of many partners for finding solutions on the build though. I think Mark or David would be a great pick too!!!
