Non-Intercooled Cartuning Kit
I am already cringing at the fact that I must sell this. I am getting relocated at work, and will be purchasing a house so I need to come up with the down payment and everything else that goes with purchasing house. This will basically be a copy and paste of Mark's post a few months ago. I was going to use my taxes to buy a built trans so I wouldn't have to worry about it before I installed the kit, but that will not happening either.
Selling - Cartuning Non-Intercooled Turbo Kit for LS4:
Turbo, wastegate, crossover, upper and lower downpipe, LS1 MAF were on SuperCat's Monte Carlo and have less than 2000 miles on these parts.
Items you will need to buy separately that are normally included from Cartuning with the kit that I do not have:
8 Autolite 103 spark plugs
160 degree thermostat
Transgo Shift kit (a must!)
Turbo inlet and outlet gaskets (Summit/Jegs for T4 Turbo)
“Make a stabilizing bracket that attaches from bolt on turbo flange to stud on transmission bolt” Easy, just a piece of flat steel slightly bent with holes for bolts to go through. There is a pic of what it looks like in the Cartuning installation manual. Download the installation manual on the Cartuning website. Basically skip the intercooler install portion for this kit…..
Here’s what is in the kit I am selling:
Turbo system including crossover (DEI Titanium wrapped), Turbonetics T-66 Turbo, upper and lower downpipe including DHM ELECTRIC EXHAUST CUT OUT prewelded on downpipe with cabin remote switch, no cat on the downpipe (3 bolt flange at end that exhaust shop can use to attach to your exhaust system). Nuts/bolts included in kit. All stainless piping - Tig welded construction.
Lokar trans dipstick (stainless braid)
PCV solution
Oil return and feed adaptors and hardware. Stainless braid feed line.
LS1 MAF sensor with wire adaptor
Cartuning Alky system
New KN air filter
Vac lines/distribution block.
Blow off valve
Turbonetics evolution wastegate (5 psi “blue” spring installed)
Cartuning silicone/T-bolt clamps.
The "tune" – I will provide you with the HP Tuners file I have for this non-intercooled kit for LS4 cars. This is the basic "get started tune" from Cartuning. Your tuner will need to copy/put this tune in your car and use the file as the basis to start tuning your car. Do not push the car into boost with this tune or you may blow up your engine! You will need to have an air/fuel gauge connected and monitoring air/fuel ratio as well as where the boost level is at on the car. Get your car tuned by someone experienced with HP Tuners and LS motors.
$2,800 firm plus shipping.
Hopefully with the new position I will be able to end up doing this at a later date.

I know I know. My biggest fear is installing it and destroying my trans because it will be awhile before I can save up for that now. If I close before this sells it will be getting installed, I will just be poor for awhile(and have to hope the trans doesn't decide to let go).

If I were to do that I wouldn't have a reason to install the turbo kit. I rarely drive the car because of my commute, but when I do it sees WOT frequently. Plus my buddies own h/c camaro, H/C gto, procharged 2v mustang, 04 cobra, H/C t/a. So it would def be hard not to go play.

I currently have a 1 car garage, just can't fit a car in it anymore. The new house has a 2 car, which is ok, but I looked at a lot of houses with a 3 car garage which would have been better. I still plan on modding the car, but money will be tight until my girlfriend finds a new job(the main reason I'm looking to sell is to replenish the savings account after closing cost). If I wasn't buying a house I'd have the money for a built trans and intercooler right now.
