purchased 3157 60 smd led's. (30 white, 30 amber) Issue was with drl's the white would not shut off when the amber flashed. So I wired in a SPDT relay. Divided the running lights through the NC contact. and tee'd off the turn signal wire to energize the coil. tapped into common ground to complete the coil circuit. End results in functioning turn signals. and a pretty white running lights to complete the front look of the car!

Nice glad you figured out the problem but that surprisingly never happened to me with my GXP. I did the same thing to my front turn signals. First I bought some switchbacks off ddmtuning but there was a problem where after the would turn the bulb would just shutoff and stay off not switching back. So I bought some 60 white/ 60 amber led switchbacks off jdmtoy and they work great. It looks cleaner and adds that little touch of attention to detail I love it!

I have a friend of mine that is using a different pair, that was plug n play. Only his turn the white off completely and flash amber off. He paid either 20$ ea. or for the pair. I maid 8$ for the pair and 6$ for the relays to have them flash as shown amber white.

So you may just want to go the esy route instead of hacking up wour wiring harness like i did?

My wiring harness is already hacked up. I have to replace the damn passenger side bulb like every 3-4 months because it burns out and then the socket also burns out eventually and have to keep replacing that too. I'm tired of it and I really like the way yours turned out, looks clean bro. I think I'd go with the 48 led tower though. Let me know man. Thanks.
