I just got hp tuners .... I have never tuned before .... just looking for some basic tips ...

I split the puchase with a buddy so its not like I shelled out 500 for practice ..

My main purpose is to raise my speed limiter, turn off the dod, and delete the rear o2 ...

youll want to go through the engine diag-DTC tab and set all H02S Bank 1 sensor 2 to no error reported. via drop down menu to the right of each description. Go back to the general tab in the same window and set your rear 02 and catalitic converter test to disabled. close the window and go to engine-fuel-COT lean cruise tab. Set COT to disabled and set enrichment to 0.00 look over to the right and you will find you DOD settings simply turn it to disabled. Hope this helps

Cool .... I'm gonna leave the real tuning to a local guy .... that's gotta wait till I get my throttle body adapter made for my ls6 intake so I can get that on ...

Well the guides on HP tuners forums will help significantly but if you don't wanna touch it at all then to each their own. Go to photo bucket.com and make a account then you can post pictures whereever you want by using the IMG code and pasting it.

I migh have an option to use LS6 TB, waiting for one I ordered to show it works. My goal is to have it worked out so anyone can just bolt on, minus VLOM modification.

I have to ask though...granted keeping the ls6 tb with thin take is logical however I'm seeing the prices the same or greater than a ls2 and the adapter is cheap as hell too. To each their own though.
