You need to adjust the housings rather than the bulbs in the them. If they bulbs are not fitting in the housing correctly, that is a problem that needs to be fixed. The housings have the reflectors that reflect the light out in a certain direction. Adjusting those will impact where the light is.

Do you have projectors or factory style housings? You should be able to adjust the housings. No need to split the housings open.

Just for conversations sake if I told you you have to bend the bulbs (and not use the grey adjuster on the top of the housing) which part of the bulb would you bend?

The base of the bulb can be moved where it goes into the adapter. Only thing is...idk if i moved it, the way it is in the headlight, i might move it left to right not up or down

You're scaring me man. The angle of the bulb doesn't change the angle of the light. Changing the angle of the lense it reflects off of does. Use the grey adjusters. Usually they're a nut with a torx imprint in the middle.

Be careful though if you over adjust them in either direction the adjuster will seperate inside the headlight. Then you will have to seperate the housingto fix it.

Every year my buddy throws a set of 185/65/16s studded snow tires on his malibu and it does fine. theyre fairly cheap too.
