Default Should something be hooked here?

I'm replacing my valve cover gaskets and have been looking around the engine...At the throttle body end of the intake on the rear side, there is a black vacuum port pointing towards the rear. It's the port directly next to the electrical connector. Mine has nothing plugged in to it - looks just like this picture...Should there be?

Don't worry all ls4 intakes have that port with nothing attached. I'm thinking maybe it was for Cali emissions stuff. But its non functional so no need to worry.

Thanks! Didn't look like anything was ever connected, but I thought it was strange to see an open port on the intake...

Are you swapping over to the ls2 intake?
