Need the name of the LS4 Engineer!
!By the way - I ended up putting in a stock 6.0L cam, LS7 Lifters, new trays, new oil pump, new cam timing sprocket (3 bolt), new GM blue springs, and had a complete valve job and resurfacing on the heads. It runs circles around what it was before! Now that's the pain is over (for now) I'm glad I did it!
6.0 cam from the vortec trucks (non afm) from like 03-on works? I could source that at a u pull and pay pretty damn cheap.

Did a compression check and found #6 cylinder spark plug had a lot of mucus looking oil on it. Pulled the intake, rocker covers, and valley cover and found that the intake lifter on that cylinder had collapsed and the intake runner was full of fuel. This started the whole journey.....
The cam was a pull out from a 05 6.0l truck. I went with it because it was close to the dod cam specs and I decided that I didn't want any tranny problems by adding power.
