Just a heads up, and this is from Dave at TEP. The only bolt-on aftermarket converter is the one from Precision with its dual bolt pattern. Since we use a 258mm bolt pattern and all the aftermarket ones are 245mm. You will have to drill your flex plate if you want to use anything besides stock or the Precision converter.

ill post a picture of my TCC duty cycle table that i edited, ive had it at 100/90 on multiple cars and it's just too damn harsh for my liking. I don't trust running them in an on off situation when they arent designed for that. Smooth engagement, minimum slippage is what I shoot for and it doesnt always require 100/90 to make that work.

When you talked with them about the converter, did they give you any insight as to how well they are built? My biggest concern is that its just a restalled reman with no real changes in STR or anything that really matters. Im up in the air between PATC and circle d, granted the circle d is more expensive but I know its a fully custom piece designed exclusively for max performance. Although I do like the idea of running the lighter converter. Just not sure how that's gonna compare against the stock 258mm. I want to stall somewhere between 2400-2800. Everywhere I read the 9.5's tend to stall slightly higher then what they are rated for.

Yea, he said theres ha e some "tricks of trade done internally and will hold up very well for someone like me who plans on having around middle 3xx whp and up to a 150 shot of nitrous. If I'd known circle d would be doing some converters for us i wouldve utilized them for sure. Only time will tell with this converter though, I've been waiting for my factory to blow up. Which is why i stared buying some componets here and there. But until the day I have to drop the trans all of this sits in the garage
