Default Well i would of ran a 10s pass butt

First time doing a dig last night first pass of the night I did a good burnout tires hookup like nothing I felt before I launched and right before my 1-2 something in the trans let go im 90% that its the input shaft. so after getting my car off the track they bring my time slip witch I could car less to have seen I pulled a 1.58 60ft and that pissed me off more than breaking I know that im n the 10s with a 60 like that I dead hooked at 3k rpm and about 5psi out the hole. the gforce felt like nothing I ever felt in this car!!!
so trans will go to Dave this week for the new input shaft design

As much as I love your engine setup, there isnt a damn thing your gonna be able to do to make that much power get to the ground successfully through any of these GM FWD transmissions. Hopefully daves new input shaft helps you out but your gonna have weak points at all the other remaining shafts in the trans IMO.

It's not just the power its the weight with it. You can get in the 10s but then two things we have working against us . Tourqe converter slipping, or as u saw tonight input shaft, the new design was done back in the gmr design days glad there finally coming back.

Really sorry about your luck man. I think now your at the point where you should start considering as much weight reduction as possible before hitting the track.

Yes I have the zzp 300m shaft. I get you guys on the weight part I have done some stuff like the trunk is empty I know that is nothing but I really want to beat furchesperformance time @11.0 with a fully gutted track car it can and will be done no matter what it takes with my full interior I just need a 10.90!!!
Trans is almost out didn't have a Trans Jack today but will have one tomorrow. And I'm gonna ask some questions about converters maybe a non lockup that will be less stress on the front of the trans. Anyone wants to chime in on that would be great

The new input shafts have no tcc oring, and a custom converter is needed. But this is undoubtedly what you need to handle this if it was your input shaft that broke
