Probably okay to use, I would say. If there's a ridge burr, just hit it with a file to knock it off

Gotta agree with all the above.

Remove whatever high spots got thrown up (burrs etc.) as gently as possible, with as mild and non-aggressive of a tool as possible, and send it.

Blend it all out and it will be fine. Make sure the rings are totally free.

Thank you guy for the advice I’ve sanded it down the skirts and crown I will be installing later. Hopefully this doesn’t come back to bite me in the ***.

I myself would do just what you did...but for peace of mind. what's 1 new piston $130-$150??

By the looks of that rod, you have some pretty nice stuff going into this build...

I called yesterday but Texas speed said JE typically Doesn’t sell individual pistons. I will call today if they don’t sell me one I’ll just slap this on in.

It won't. That piston is fine.

And JE sells singles all of the time, unless it's a custom part. If Texas Speed won't do it for you, I will ... but you don't need one.

If you do decide to go that way ... make certain you getting one that matches your weight. They vary significantly even within a singe run.

I checked with JE. That Job Number is a proprietary part number that they make only for Texas Speed, so Texas Speed should be able to sell you a single, but JE has nothing to do with it.
