So im stilling getting engine power reduced when I go to the floor and release. With the new wiring setup, the throttle position now matches the the desired position, just not sure whats setting off the code. P1516 and P2101, if i remove the codes from the diagnostics, it still goes into engine pwr reduced, and I have to clear codes that arent being read by hpt.

For all intents and purposes, it seems like the throttle isnt snapping back fast enough or binding on the way back, so the desired position is different from the actual. I also found this data for the LS2 throttle bodies, but I would need LS3 pinouts to verify that its using the right TPS voltage range as the two seem to be opposite each other on the 8 pin setup.

Do you have this LS3 tb on your car? Im curious what your min/max voltage is.

Exact same codes till I disabled them. Then tore it apart and found that I had a slight bind. Pretty much as you described , that was with the ls2 I had. After I cleaned the bore a little which I just attribute to manufacturer tolerance a little to far out of spec, I never had a issue afterwards and re enable the codes with no issue. I tested the ls3 once I got it to make sure as well and zero issues in the time I've had it. Guess it's luck of the draw.

Right, I did go back and rewire it again this morning and the throttle position and desired throttle position in HPT now match up correctly. However I do not have a TN colored wire at PIN C on my oem connector, i ahve RD/BLK. However I followed the same pinout setup and ignored the colors. I think that if it was wired improperly it wouldnt even drive at part throttle.
