well, I'm tempted to throw a 100HP shot on the car and smackem (SRT-8's) down, Charger boards are brutal, talkin trash to the 5.7 Charger crowd and their bjg brother SRT-8's had to challenge me?? what a joke...I hope they come out with some good stuff for this car so I can Lay one of those SRT-8's out at the track, that would be hysterical!!!

yeh those charger folks are something else...let them be on there high horses with there cars...personally i think they all have no style, exeptions for the daytona and srt8, and the almighty quote, gxp 1 car lead, pulled 2-3 cars by 65...funniest thing i ever herd..

On the good note am not dissapointed with the f-body fans, atleast they give respect where its do and are interested, unlike charger fans who call there admin to solve a troll problem its obviouse they dont like to hear the truth

If I had the money to get a GXP, I'd treat it like what it is, a V8. Just get a CAI, cut-outs, big cam, head work and own the track (and any ford or mopar "competitor").
It is a dream of mine to see a GXP and hear it with a choppy *** idle.

I wish that a cam would come out soon for the LS4, but it might be tough since the DoD cylinders have a different lift profile. I guess only time will tell. I think I may be doing a gear swap sometime soon, since that's one of the few things that is available so far. Probably new mufflers as well.

It's the wife's, so I dont get to drive it to much. I think she has 1700 miles on it now.. oh I did fix the small dry shot of gas on it (75hp) and it pulls very hard, just ask a friend of mind with a 04 GTO we ran on the Hwy and I pulled away by 3 cars. We started from 35 I was in 1st I think he was in 2nd and we ran to 100mph. ( his GTO is a full bolt-on m6 car it runs high 12's in the 1/4). I Will take it back the track in the spring.

I install N20 kits all the time, I owen a shop called HHP (Henson's High Performance) We do Custom Installs throughout the Midlands of South Carolina, Servicing Imports, American Muscle and everything in between.
"Spray'n the Midlands one car at a time." As for the kit any dry kit will work most cost around $360-$450 some are more but not needed... It is not hard to in stall at all, Plan for a week end... If you wont. PM me for my ph#

Tnx Dale, I will hold you to that after the new year. I will install N2o B4 the track opens in March, seems to be the way to get where I want to go (mid-high 12's) and hopefully someone will come out with a PCM fix for the TMS so I can launch hard even with the STOCK TIRES ON IT!! never thought that would be an issue, but I guess they matched up the width pretty well (we have 255/45's), do you have any estimates, of course that I'm not holding you to, on what kind of gains I would see in terms of speed and ET given the baseline as a 13.70 @102 (I figure that's close to what I ran most of the night, 5 13.8's, 2 13.70's, 1 13.68, it seems to get faster w/age, or I'm driving it better as I get used to it).

Hopefully someone will come out with a PCM fix for the TMS so we can launch harder A 75hp shot will pick up 6-8 mph and 6 to 7ths, a 100hp shot will pick up 8 to 10mph and 8 to 1.0..... I think the PCM would be the big fix! You do not wont to go over 100rwhp on the stock tune.. Try 75hp and shoot for high 12's

yeah that will be fine, 12's are my goal, and no loss in driveability, N2o, looks to be the way to go.

Great times Tony! Are you racing at Atco? I've heard that is the fastest
strip in the country due to its low altitude.

atco is 33' above sea level and englishtown is 86'.. atco's prep in the winter is better than Englishtown's therfore most will run a better ET there..in the summer the humidity is higher at Atco and usually you will run the same or better at Englishtown, that is my experience of racing many cars over the last 17yrs...DA is usually non factor at either in the winter & summers around 1500-2000'

and this thread is REALLY old...my god I don't even own that Car anymore!!!
