Default LS4 PCM / TCM beta tesing




sorry for the bad photos from the phone

GTXprix and Co working on some beta PCM testing and tuning LS4

base hp was 260ish

about 20 hp pick up so far and a bunch of goodies

good news

Awesome!!!! I can't wait to see what kind of #'s can be had with pcm tunning. I also can't wait to be able to modify the torque management tables. This should increase our 1/4 times by alot alone

i cant wait to see how the trans hold up to added power and modified torque management...

didn't take it all out just a little bit at a time and the WOT 1-2 shfit was firmed up very nice

I would hope it's been built to at least take the amount of power in the setup, "if were able to be unlocked"..is that asking too much?

It better hold up!! Maybe GM should have spent the money on beefier parts and not on the torque management program??? I think GM should unlock this feature for free when our warentys expire. If I want to break half-shafts when my car is out of warenty then that is my problem not theirs.

I'm pretty sure the tranny will take it but the other parts puttin power to the wheels - I doubt will for too long... that is, with sticky tires.

As with any car..parts break, it's part of racing...replace, and hope it's stronger.

dyno'd around 104-105 after some 1/4 mile tweaking

The 1-2 shift is ripping the tires!! dam that feels good!!

Shift points fixed yet or still early? did you take all the TMS out or leave some, and if so how will that affect those wanting to use DR's?

Forget my last post. I see you ment 104-105 trap speed in the dyno's 1/4 estimater.
