Default 1/4 mile times

what are your mods and 1/4 mile times. My boss is looking at either a GXP or Monte SS. Any help would be great. Thanks!

This is a quess but a stock Regal GS S/C can run mid 14's with a good driver so i'd guess probably low 14's with a good drive on the LS4 cars.

Stock my GXP went 13.6 @102+ in the cold weather, with just the driver's headlight out, stock EVERYTHING, it should run high13's, my GXP ran 13.7 over 101 all day long, when I first ran it, took some time FWD sucks for racing, went 14.3, then 14.1, then 13.8, then 13.6..

If you can get it to hook up high 13s. Low 14s with half-*** driving. (like me so far)

Hard to hook up since the rear end drops so much plus the front tires don't flex very much so they usually just spin.

Brandon, MS huh? Awesome, don't see to many modded LS cars around here. Everybody has a mustang, truck, or ricer that they think is fast.

Thinking about heading over to Jackson once I get some mods on the car.

Haven't been by there... The one over by Lynch Street and Robinson Road?

I know they race somewhere in north jackson in the street. Been there once but the cops busted it up. Forget what the street name was.

naw...county line...go on i55 to home depot parking lot, some nights its good and somenights it sucks, mostly theres a bunch of vettes, sometimes vipers, a slew of ricers, mustangs, it just depends on who goes up there. some of the best nights there have been at least 250 cars..several fbodies, people go behind target on that 5 lane stretch and race.

Normally, no, but there are freaks out there (some on a Regal forum I'm on) just like any other group of cars. The norm for a stock Regal GS is high 14's/low 15's.

A friend of mine took me for a ride in his brand new gxp, wow, fast car, got to 130 like nothing, very sharp looking too. I would have to say he might keep up with me in my ws6.

I've been trying to tell people the GXPs will run right along with the '05, 06 Mustang GTs but they look at me like I'm crazy. Time will tell, I guess.

Yeah they run pretty much the same. Some people just think the Mustang GT is a god. Personally I think they are overated as a "fast" sports car. Yes they are quick, but not that impressive.

It would probably come down to who drove better, but it would still be close.

it would be amazing if they would just make the monte SS's RWD, whats the point of this FWD s#@t, i think that car would be more popular if they would make it RWD. IMO
